Couples seek therapy for many reasons, including:
Combining my work in somatic therapy with Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), I help couples understand the conflicts and patterns that can make relationships feel stuck or strained. In the work, we explore underlying dynamics, negative interaction cycles, and learn how to respond to each other in more emotionally accessible and connected ways. We will develop practical skills to strengthen communication, trust, and connection while working toward each couple’s goals.
I work with people in all types of relationships, including non-traditional structures such as ethical non-monogamy, polyamory, and platonic partnerships.

How does couples therapy work?
First, I’ll meet with you together to hear about what your hopes are for treatment and what made you decide to pursue therapy at this time.
Next, I’ll meet with each partner individually to get a more in depth history and to speak with you about your experience in the relationship.
Then we will all continue to meet weekly. I will assess the dynamic and, as a group, we will identify your goals and working edge.
